Email Follow Ups To Increase Sales

As we all know, one of the most critical factors to sustain a growing business is to continue to increase sales leads coming into your business. In our experience some companies do a great job when it comes to generating leads, but most do not follow up as timely as they would like. This does effect closing percentages and will decrease a companies growth rate over time. One method we have implemented into our email marketing service for our clients is the email marketing follow up method. Email marketing can track how many people opened up an email, click through to the website, and best of all track specifically the individual data from each person. By having this type of information it is key to come up with a follow up procedure. A majority of people click through a website might stay on for a few minutes and then click off and never follow through with what was originally intended for them to do. Tracking the information from the people that do take the next step by clicking through to the website or link provided in the email gives us a clear picture of who has taken interest in a particular product or service. The key thing to do is to send these people a follow up email within a few days establishing what you want them to do from this point - for example, if you walked into a car dealership and you took a test drive in a brand new sedan that interests you. Most sales people always follow up within a few days to see how you liked it and if there are interests in moving closer to the purchase. This is done in the traditional world, but should never be overlooked when it comes to the virtual world because today there is not much difference when it comes to marketing.
